Farmhouse Smiling Gecko

The Farmhouse Smiling Geckois
The Farmhouse Smiling Geckois is located n the middle of the Cambodian rice fields.

The sustainable Green Pearls® resort combines country living with modern luxury. It has 34 rooms in bungalows and Cambodian stilt houses with terraces and outdoor areas surrounded by nature. The resort offers an extensive wellness area for massages and yoga retreats.

The Farmhouse is also an educational hotel of the Smiling Gecko project committed to supporting Cambodian street children, the young and poor. In the long term, the organization aims to build a economically independent and self-sufficient community through the farms and the hotel.

The resort’s kitchen is run by Mariya Un Noun, who came through Smiling Gecko, and the young chef combines traditional and western dishes, with most of the food coming from the project's garden and the resorts bakery and butcher's shop.

A guided tour of the large Smiling Gecko grounds is included for every guest during their stay and the hotel also offers a trip to Temple Mount, a 500-year-old monastery and also to a textile factory near Phnom Penh.

Green Pearls is the first holding company worldwide that consolidates sustainable hotels, destinations and restaurants in a global data source, unifing international tourism companies that support environmental protection and demonstrate social commitment.
