Premiering in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei and Thailand on Sunday 28 June, the seven-episode travelogue follows Jason as he travels across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
The ‘Savour Australia’ travelogue brings to life Tourism Australia’s ‘Restaurant Australia’ campaign, highlighting the unique and exceptional people, places and produce throughout Australia.
The series is supported by Tourism Western Australia, Tourism Northern Territory, South Australian Tourism Commission, Tourism Tasmania, Tourism Victoria, Destination New South Wales and Tourism & Events Queensland.
The travelogue aims to further inspire audiences in Malaysia and the Asian region to travel to Australia and embark on their own food journey.
‘Savour Australia’ is the second collaboration between Life Inspired and Tourism Australia. The first award-winning series ‘Jason Down Under’ in 2013 which attracted more than 126,000 viewers per episode, followed the journey of Jason Godfrey as he travelled through Australia, featuring a variety of city, food and wine and nature experiences.
Tourism Australia and Life Inspired recently hosted a three-weekend back-to-back Food Truck Inspired Mall Roadshow in Klang Valley and Penang, Malaysia to promote the new TV series, offering samplings of fresh Australian produce and sharing information on travel to Australia.
