Melbourne Star Becomes "China Ready" With Launch of New Mandarin Audio Translation

Melbourne Star
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel is set to unveil a brand new Mandarin translation to play across their in-cabin audio tour from 19 June 2015, further enhancing the Star experience for Chinese guests across both day and night flights.

Starting today, the brand new tailored visitor experience will allow Mandarin-speaking guests to easily understand the myriad of sights visible to them during the 30-minute flight.

Melbourne Star Management Group CEO, Chris Kelly, said the audio update represents the growing importance of the inbound Chinese market to Victoria.

“China represents Victoria's number one source market for international visitors, and combined with a very strong local Chinese community, we are confident that our new tailored experience will be welcomed by tourists and locals alike,” Mr Kelly said.

“Every visit to Melbourne should start at the Star and we look forward to welcoming more Mandarin-speaking visitors throughout the year.”

The Melbourne Star is open daily from 10am to 10pm, with last admission at 9.30pm.
