Feel Japan, Breathe Your Japan at the Nachi Waterfall

Tucked into a primaeval forest steeped in spirituality, the 133m-tall Nachi Waterfall – the tallest in Japan – is revered as the site of worship and spiritual training since ancient times.

Buddhism and Shintoism exist in harmony here, as evidenced by the proximity of the Shinto Nashi Taisha Shrine and the Buddhist Seiganto-ji Temple which is famous for its striking red, three-storey pagoda set against the backdrop of the roaring falls.
