A fashionable city shall meet three requirements involving the city’s stable economic base and adequate GDP, its people’s positive attitude toward fashion and desire for consumption, as well as its degree of opening up and close connection with the outside world.
The China Trends Index Annual Summit 2015, which was organized by the Trends Group (TG), was convened in Xiamen International Conference Center on the evening of November 28th. At the Summit, the 2015 China Trends Index White Paper was released. The China Trends Index launched by TG is based upon a survey which targets nearly 10,000 fashion crowd and involves media, brands, channels, designers and cities.
As the well-known Land of Abundance, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, an international shopping paradise and a city with fashionable ways of life, Chengdu was highly commented at the Summit.
