NRMA and Sydney Royal Easter Show volunteers are here to help

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is pleased to announce the National Roads and Motorists Association (NRMA) has once again thrown their support behind the Sydney Royal Easter Show Volunteer Program for this year’s Show.

Volunteers are at the heart of the Sydney Royal Easter Show (the Show) and contribute to the successful delivery of Australia’s largest annual event.

RAS Head of Sales & Partnerships, Tim Underwood spoke of the important role volunteers play.

“The NRMA has a long and proud history of helping the people of NSW, and through our volunteer program, that help will be extended to the general public while they are at the Show,” Mr Underwood said.

“We have approximately 400 volunteers every year who greet Showgoers with a warm smile and friendly hello and they continue to be one of our most valuable assets,” he said.

NRMA Group CEO Tony Stuart said the partnership between NRMA and the Show represents one of Australia’s most iconic brands working with one of Sydney’s most iconic events.

“The Easter Show is a unique event that brings the city and the country together – that’s one of the reasons the NRMA wants to be a part of it,” Mr Stuart said.

“Over 40 per cent of NRMA Members live outside Sydney and many will be attending the Show, as will many of our city Members. By supporting the Show volunteers, the NRMA can do its part in helping families find the must see sights at this year’s event.

NRMA will feature on volunteer apparel to ensure the volunteers stand out from the crowd.
