Incheon International Airport Corporation announced that Incheon Airport won the ‘Best International Transit Airport’ for 2 consecutive years at the ‘World Airport Awards 2015’ ceremony held in Paris, France on March 11 (local time).
Skytrax, the host of the ceremony, is a British research agency specializing in air travel services. It conducts evaluation and research into the service quality of airports and airlines around the world. The company selected winners after conducting an online survey among 12 million travelers around the world as to the service quality of airports and airlines globally for the past 9 months (’14 6 ~ ’15. 2).
Incheon Airport was selected as the best transit airport that offers the best transfer services and facilities, among 550 airports. In particular, the convenient transfer procedures considering the route of travelers, transfer facilities, and free transfer tours were highly evaluated.
This year, Incheon Airport also received the ‘World’s Cleanest Airport’.
