Campingninja launches Edinburgh Festival Camping, new for 2015

Get Ready to Camp with Campingninja for the 2015 Edinburgh Festivals. The month of August sees Scotlands Capital City transformed into a sea of entertainment creating the very best entertainment show on earth with the Edinburgh Fringe, International, Book, Arts, Royal Military Tattoo and Mela Festivals all running concurrently.

To help cope with the huge demand for affordable accommodation throughout Edinburgh over the month of August, Campingninja will be transforming a city centre space into Edinburgh Festival

Camping. Located in the city in wonderful green surroundings, the festival camp site will offer a superb location for Festival Visitors & Performers to stay. Campers will be able to easily access performances all over the city by foot, bicycle, or by using easily accessible public transport.

The Festival Camping Village will offer affordable accommodation choices for both Visitors and Performers alike. As well as the option of bringing your own tent there will be a VIP area with pre pitched tent options and a dedicated family zone along with a Performer and Artist breakfast stage for showcasing acts to other campers.

Campingninja are no stranger to Scotland. The Glasgow Games 2014 saw over 8,000 campers enjoying great affordable camping with Campingninja, who hosted 4 large sites for volunteers and visitors throughout the Games. The Pop Up Camping Villages create a home from home and a wonderful festival atmosphere of their own for all campers. With hotel prices at a premium in the busy month of August, this site will be open all the way through from 7th to the 31st August allowing many families the chance to come and stay and enjoy the array of local attractions that Edinburgh has to offer, as well as the festival entertainment.

Campingninja continues with it’s strong ethos in supporting grass root sport & local communities by choosing a local Community Support Club as it’s hosting partner for Edinburgh Festival Camping. The Camping Village will utilise the great facilities this community sports centre has including hot showers , bar and catering and the club will also provide their own entertainment for the campers bringing a great local community spirit to Edinburgh Festival Camping.

The Community Sports Centre will gain much needed funds from hosting Edinburgh Festival Camping.
