Reed Exhibitions Greater China shares top HR honours

Reed Exhibitions Greater China, the country’s premier exhibition organizer, has been selected as a recipient of the 2015 Best Performance Management Company Award.

The award is given to companies who have made significant contributions to human resource management in China, thereby serving as ‘models’ in the field. This has earned the award its moniker Best Role Model Company of the Year. It recognizes and ranks the nation’s best HR practices and the latest in management trends.

The 2015 line-up identified over 200 finalists from a review pool of 420,000 active employers. The award is hosted by 51job (Nasdaq: JOBS), one of China’s leading human resource solutions providers that serves hundreds of thousands of domestic and multinational corporate clients throughout Mainland China.

“We are beyond thrilled to be ranked among the nation’s leading employers dedicated to nurturing and investing in high-quality talent. Being selected from such a fine pool of competition is truly an honor for us all,” says Hu Wei, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. “Furthermore, this recognition not only serves as reinforcement to our employees and the industry that we take their careers with us seriously; it also places the spotlight firmly on one of the company’s core asset – Our People.”

Reed Exhibitions Greater China’s long-standing tradition of consistent and high quality employee education and training programs has earned it several accolades over recent years. In 2014, Reed was selected as a Beijing Top 30 Employer out of a starting pool of over 3,000 companies.

The award was held in conjunction with The China Best Employer Award 2014 and was hosted by Zhaopin.com, China’s largest online employment recruitment platform. That same year, Reed was also nominated as a top 3 finalist for the international UFI Education Award under the theme of Best In-House Education Initiative.

In recent years, Reed Exhibitions Greater China has diligently invested in talent management empowering its employees at all levels of the career ladder with a comprehensive range of learning and development programs. In 2014, as part of the Reed Exhibitions China University program, over 11,400 hours of training were given to employees.

Other successful programs include the Reed Management Associate Program (RMAP), Reed Exhibitions Greater China Scholarship Program, The High Potential Talent Development Program and the recently launched RX Greater China Marketing Certification Program.

Since 2008, Reed Exhibitions Greater China has continuously given back to society by driving a series of successful CSR campaigns involving active participation of its staff across China.

Recent community aid efforts include a 2014 partnership with Sower’s Action and launch of the Sending Love to Children program, a 2015 limb donation program focusing on prosthetic limb donation and rehabilitative care for the needy, and most recently Reed’s Warmth for the Underprivileged Program.
