The festival aligned with TAT’s marketing communication campaign, “Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End,” which aims to inspire visitors to explore the country’s diverse experiences. The campaign highlights how every journey in Thailand could become a unique chapter in a traveller’s story, offering everything from vibrant city life to serene beach retreats.
Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, said “We were delighted to partner with The Extraordinary Travel Festival to highlight Thailand’s diverse offerings. Our ‘Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End’ marketing communication concept underscored the potential for every experience to inspire travellers to create lasting memories. By connecting with influential travellers, we hoped to encourage others to discover Thailand’s hidden gems.”
The collaboration between TAT and The Extraordinary Travel Festival successfully showcased Thailand to a distinguished audience of avid travellers.
In Bangkok, festival attendees experienced a rich blend of culture, shopping, and culinary delights, including iconic attractions such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Beyond the capital, Thailand’s stunning beaches—particularly those in Phuket and Krabi—offered opportunities for relaxation and adventure. Northern destinations like Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provided a serene atmosphere and the chance to engage with traditional Thai culture.
Ric Gazarian, an award-winning travel photographer and filmmaker, said “In Bangkok, The Extraordinary Travel Festival brought together passionate travellers for three days of knowledge sharing and networking. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from over 30 speakers and learn strategies for visiting all 193 sovereign countries—an achievement accomplished by fewer than 400 individuals worldwide.”
Building on the success of its inaugural festival, which received unanimous positive feedback from participants, this year’s event welcomed over 235 travellers from around the globe.
