It's On! Thredbo Mountain Bike Park Celebrates A Huge Opening Day

Thredbo MTB Park is celebrating a massive opening day with an impressive number of guests turning out to ride Australia's only lift-accessed mountain bike park.

Thredbo MTB Park welcomed an influx of riders today to kick off the 2024/25 summer season.

With the debut of a brand-new intermediate trail called 'Revolver' and a bunch of trail upgrades, excitement was at an all-time high today for the official opening of Australia's premier mountain biking destination.

With an incredible turnout at the event, Thredbo was overtaken by riders today, as Thredbo MTB Park continues to attract mountain bikers from across Australia season after season.

Guests were spoilt for choice with awesome trail conditions, new trails and exciting upgrades, live music and a stack of prizes to be won.

Thredbo's ambassador crew, including Sian A'Hern, Caroline Buchanan, Kye A'Hern, Tim Eaton, Jackson Connelly, Tom Crimmins, Maddy Lloyd, Tegan Molloy, Jackson Frew, Benson Archer, and Georgia Hennes, were spotted ripping the trails on opening day. The ambassadors were the first to test the park yesterday and continued to make the most of the over 40km of trails with guests over the weekend.

To celebrate opening day, the ambassadors hosted a massive giveaway on the mountain, hiding prizes around the trails for guests to find. The hero prize was the highly sought-after All Event Entry to the Boost Mobile Cannonball MTB Festival, one of the biggest Australian MTB events on the calendar.
