South Australia launches #LoveWhereYouLive

The South Australian Tourism Commission and Wagstaff Media and Marketing have created #LoveWhereYouLive to support the regions travel destinations and hotels post COVID-19.

The programme brings together South Australia’s ‘key thought leaders, influencers and creators’ to share stories about what they love in their hometowns, which will be published through the Steller platform and multiple marketing touchpoints.

The stories can then be used by media, travel agents, tour operators and all stakeholders to create awareness and inspire visitation once travel restrictions are lifted.

#LoveWhereYouLive will be available for other destinations as they begin to rebuild domestic tourism, and a Phase Two of the program will be introduced when travel restrictions are retracted.

South Australia South Australia, the fourth largest of Australia’s six states, takes in Kangaroo Island and Adelaide.

Adelaide itself has been added to the list of the worlds’ Great Wine Capitals and over 60% of all exported Australian wines come from the state’s top wine regions including the Barossa, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra.

South Australia arguably has the most accessible native wildlife in the country and outdoor adventure activities such as hiking, 4WD tours and mountain biking are available.

There is also the chance to swim with sharks on the Eyre Peninsula and view a sea-lion colony on Kangaroo Island.

Known as the “Gateway to the Outback,” South Australia is also home to Coober Pedy, the world’s opal mining capital.

Steller.co Steller is ‘the world’s largest travel storytelling platform and community for today’s mobile-first travelers’ , enabling users to capture and share personal stories on a mobile device or via the web.
