The Outrigger Waikiki

The Outrigger Waikiki
If you're looking to experience some of the most spectacular ocean views that Waikiki has to offer, The Outrigger Waikiki might just be the perfect to stay. Located between Waikiki beach and the well known Kalakaua avenue, The Outrigger Waikiki is only footsteps away from exclusive shops and restaurants, as well as the breathtaking Hawaiian sea.

One notable feature of The outrigger Waikiki is it's elegant, traditional style. Polished wooden furniture and decor contribute to the sophisticated nature of the hotel. The lobby is chic, welcoming and stylish, and the customer service we received on arrival was exceptional.

I booked the Partial Ocean Room which certainly did not disappoint. Although not directly facing Waikiki beach, the view of the ocean was generous and unforgettable. From above in the hotel room, I spent a lot of time gazing down at other holidaymakers and locals as they swum, surfed and paddle boarded in the turquoise waters below. The room itself featured a balcony, confortable beds and luxurious linen, as well as a walk in wardrobe which certainly came in handy after spending an afternoon at the nearby shops.

On it's sixteenth floor, the Outrigger Waikiki features a cosy gym room with a range of cardio and weight machines. Moreover, the hotel spa is situated a little higher up the tower, where you can be pampered whilst looking at the tremendous views of the ocean.

On the lower levels, you will find a variety of restaurants including Duke's famous beachside bar, Hula Grill Waikiki and Chuck's Steak house, which has been awarded with a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. If you are dining on a Friday night, it's also recommended that you wander up the beach and watch the evening fireworks located at the Hilton Hawaiian Beach Resort.

I certainly enjoyed my time at The Outrigger Waikiki. It was a pleasant hotel to stay in during my time in Hawaii.
