Sandcastles Mooloolaba Apartments are all fully self-contained one bedroom apartments ideal for a holiday for couples or individuals on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

There are several Sandcastles Apartment types to choose from -standard, superior, deluxe and rooftop with views of the ocean, park or river. The rooftop ones providing stunning ocean and beach views from your own private rooftop deck with a BBQ and sun lounges which is accessible by a spiral staircase leading from your balcony. All the apartments are individually owned and furnished, so styles vary from apartment to apartment. The apartments are serviced daily.

Sandcastles Kitchenette

The Sandcastles apartment we stayed in had been recently refurbished with black and white decor. It was modern, clean and comfortable with good views towards the ocean.

It offered a self-contained kitchenette with hot plates, range hood and microwave/convection oven. However, as there was so many eating options within a 5 minute walk we, we just had our breakfasts in the apartment. There was a kettle and tea and coffee.

Sandcastles master bedroom

The living room had a comfortable lounge, coffee table and flat screen cable TV, reverse air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The balcony offered good views over the ocean and park.

The master bedroom had a comfortable bed, flat screen cable TV, reverse air-conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity,washing machine and dryer.

Sandcastles pool & spa

There was complimentary wireless WiFi internet in our apartment, and undercover security parking for our car. There is a lift that goes from the reception level to the car park and to the apartments.

We enjoyed our swim in the Sandcastles Apartments outdoor heated pool and spa. There is also a barbecue and seating area available for guests to use enjoying the cool sea breezes.

Sandcastles Mooloolaba Apartments are on the Sunshine Coast, a long way from our home in Muswellbrook - but was well worth the drive for our holidays. Mooloolaba is about 100kms north of Brisbane along The Bruce Highway, so is ideal for a short break away from the bustle of this Capital City.

The best thing about the Sandcastles Mooloolaba Apartments is their central location in Mooloolaba. They are opposite the Mooloolaba Surf Club, where we went and enjoyed a roast buffet dinner, and only 20 metres to Mooloolaba's patrolled beach, where we went for a swim.

Sandcastles bathroom

Sandcastles is at one end of Mooloolaba's beachfront boulevard with all its restaurants, cafes, and shopping boutiques. We walked the short distance across the street to the marina wharf for our luncheon canal cruise, and then to explore the Underwater World SEA LIFE Aquarium. We ran out of time to walk further along the along boardwalk to the Yacht Club and fish co-op.

I found Bridgette & Charlie Silcock, the resident managers of the Sandcastles Mooloolaba Apartments to be very friendly welcoming hosts who assisted our stay to make it a most enjoyable one.
