Taronga’s Baby T-Rex Goes On Tour

 
16 life-size robotic dinosaurs are on their way to Taronga Zoo as part of the new Dinosaurs in the Wild exhibition. Before being unveiled to the public, Sydneysiders and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the Animatronic and life-like Baby T-Rex at venues around Sydney from Saturday 29th September to Sunday 14th October.

The travelling T-Rex will be visiting the following locations:
• Saturday 29 September: Paddington Markets, 395 Oxford Street, Paddington, 10am - 4pm
• Sunday 30 September: First Fleet Park, Circular Quay, 9am – 2pm
• Thursday 4 October to Friday 5 October: Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, 9am – 5pm
• Sunday 7 October: Brookvale Show 2012, Brookvale Oval, Pittwater Road, Brookvale, 9am – 5pm
• Saturday 13 October: Spring in Kogarah Festival, Kogarah Town Square, Belgrave Street, 10am – 3pm
• Sunday 14 October: Haberfield Primavera Festival, Dalhousie and Ramsay Streets, Haberfield

A Brachiosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Australia’s own dinosaur, the Muttaburrasaurus are amongst some of the 16 dinosaurs arriving at Taronga Zoo on November 1.

The life-size and life-like robotic dinosaurs are lumbering all the way from North America to Sydney for the new exhibition “Dinosaurs in the Wild” which opens at Taronga Zoo on November 01.
