It's Summer in Orange NSW Australia

A visit to Orange is worthwhile in any of the 4 seasons of the year. My favourite season is Orange is Summer, with temperatures warm enough to swim in the towns olympic pool.

Elevated Mount Canobolas promises mild temperatures to alleviate the heat, as you wander orchards chubby with cherries, berries and stone fruits begging to be picked in time for the holiday season! Long and languid afternoons give way to balmy evenings and cicada harmonies; a rural Australian summer and lifestyle celebrated annually during the Banjo Patterson Australian Poetry Festival.

Get some fresh air with an invigorating mountain walk. Mount Canobolas is especially magical in winter. Here the muffled crunchy snow under foot and the tinkling of snow capped gums in the breeze and look for the wombat tracks and Burrows. Or try a bushwalk at Federal Falls and be rewarded for your efforts with spectacular views.
