It's been a warm start to Autumn and there is plenty going on around the city. The Christchurch Art Gallery is showcasing the William Wegman’s exhibition from now until 28 July, and at the Canterbury Museum, check out Breaking the Ice from 18 May to 13 October. On stage at the Court Theatre is Hedwig and the Angry Inch, winner of four Tony awards, until 1 June, and Cavell Leitch’s New Zealand International Jazz and Blues is on at venues across the city from 30 May to 3 June.
The Christchurch and Canterbury Quarterly Economic Report for the December 2018 quarter has been released. The update showed international visitor spend grew by 7.9 per cent, out-performing the 1.3 per cent growth of visitor arrivals.
