Introducing South Sea Sailing!

South Sea Cruises is excited to announce the launch of a new product to add to its award winning portfolio of brands - a brand new 78ft luxury catamaran which will sail through Fiji's beautiful Mamanuca Islands under the newly established brand South Sea Sailing.

The catamaran will offer high-end sailing experiences out of Port Denarau daily. Every journey’s itinerary will be dependent on the warm tropical breeze and sea conditions, creating a unique sailing experience every day.

While on board, up to 80 guests will be treated to gourmet food and premium beverages, luxurious furnishings and snorkelling stops at spectacular reef sites. The fact the catamaran is so light with a shallow draft means easy access to sand cays, white sand beaches and Fiji's turquoise waters via a forward steps and even a water slide.

The new catamaran which is yet to be named, will feature a large shade canopy with seating options including day beds and bean bags. Group, charter and evening options will be available.

"We're delighted to be making such a world-class addition to our range of award winning tourism products," said Brad Rutherford, CEO of South Sea Cruises, who launched the new product at the 2019 Fiji Tourism Expo earlier today.

"Being the first Ocean Voyager 78 catamaran to operate in the Southern Hemisphere we anticipate that the South Sea Sailing product will prove immensely popular with both our international visitors to Fiji and local people who are looking for new experiences and different ways to explore the ever popular Mamanuca islands."

The South Sea Sailing catamaran is currently being built offshore by French based; Ocean Voyager who have worked with South Sea Cruises to customize the catamaran to South Sea Cruises requirements. It is expected to start operating in June 2020.
