From Broadway To La Scala will be performed by six of Australia’s most acclaimed contemporary singers including the magnificent award winning lyric coloratura soprano Emma Matthews, greatly loved tenor David Hobson, acclaimed bass-baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes, West End/Broadway star Caroline O’Connor and the brilliant young Australian tenor Alexander Lewis, who has been impressing audiences as Count Danilo in The Merry Widow for Opera Australia, The West Australian Opera and the State Opera of South Australia.

They will be joined by emerging artist Genevieve Kingsford, who made her debut as Fiona in Brigadoon and was nominated for best Leading Actress in a Musical at the Greenroom Awards.

Backed by Australia’s finest orchestras, From Broadway to La Scala will transport audiences with a richly entwined repertoire of all time classics, drawn from two of the world’s most enduringly popular musical genres.
