The ‘Phu Quoc Green Tourism’ campaign was launched in the southern province of Kien Giang on August 6 with a wide range of activities seeking to develop sustainable and eco-friendly tourism in the island district.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Kien Giang provincial People's Committee Mai Van Huynh, the campaign aims to support a master plan by local authorities to turn Phu Quoc into “an international-level hub of ecotourism”.

The campaign, jointly held by Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper and the Kien Giang Province provincial People's Committee will run until the end of this year.
