Ho Chi Minh City to host the 12th International Travel Expo

The 12th International Travel Expo HCM City, to be held from September 8 to 10, will welcome travel bloggers from Denmark, France, Finland, Norway, and the UK, who will share their experiences of promoting tourism on social media.

In its 11 years, the expo has opened up cooperative opportunities in tourism for five centres of Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Yangon and HCM City.

This year the event is expected to attract over 30,000 participants, an increase of 20 to 30 percent compared to last year.

Nguyen Bao Anh, Deputy Director of the HCM City Tourism Promotion Centre, said that the city was trying to improve the tourism environment, ensuring security and supporting visitors.
