Escape the crowds and enjoy a private tour of Buckingham Palace's dazzling State Rooms and important collection of historic paintings, furniture, sculpture and porcelain.

The special tours, led by expert guides, give you the chance get close to the palace's important collection of historic paintings, furniture, sculpture and porcelain.

The tour lasts approximately two hours and takes place in the afternoon and evening on selected dates from 31 March to 29 April 2012. Tickets must be pre-booked. There is limited availability, with a maximum of 30 people on each tour.

Buckingham Palace's private guided tours begin at the Ambassadors' Entrance on Buckingham Palace Road.

See the gilded ceilings and glittering chandeliers of the 19 State Rooms, and admire masterpieces from the Royal Collection.

The tour ends with a glass of champagne in the Bow Room or the Grand Entrance. You may also have a chance to visit the West Terrace overlooking Buckingham Palace's garden, weather permitting.
