More acts to join international and home-grown country stars at... BROADBEACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL 2017

Beautiful Broadbeach
25 super impressive country music acts have been added to the 2017 Broadbeach Country Music Festival line-up, which will feature Australia’s Got Talent stars THE WOLFE BROTHERS, the award-winning SARA STORER, along with CAITLYN SHADBOLT, TOMATO TOMATO and DREW MCALISTER. These acts will join the free festival’s already exciting line-up, including international superstar act AMERICA...plus KASEY CHAMBERS, TROY CASSAR-DALEY, SHANE NICHOLSON and more.

Presented by the Broadbeach Alliance, which holds stunning beachside festivals throughout the streets, parks, bars and restaurants of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, the Broadbeach Country Music Festival runs over three days (July 28-30) and is now in its 5th year. The event draws more than 30,000 visitors from across Australia and overseas.

Broadbeach Alliance Chief Executive Officer Jan McCormick says, “We are very proud of the line-up of talent that we have managed to secure this year. Not only do we have the absolute cream of the country music crop, we’re also showcasing top local stars like The Wolfe Brothers, Caitlyn Shadbolt and Sara Storer, who represent the future of Australian country.”

“The event will feature more than 84 performances from these stars on 12 stages, including a major stage in Surf Parade, and for the first time a headline stage in Kurrawa Park, right next to the beach,” she continued.

The world-class calibre of the line-up of Broadbeach Country Music Festival has recently been showcased at the CMC Music Awards 2017, where headliner Travis Collins took out three awards – Australian Country Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Australian Video of the Year. Fellow Broadbeach performer Fanny Lumsden also came home a winner, taking out the CMC New Artist of the Year award.

The Wolfe Brothers, an incredible home-grown country trio, consists of two brothers, Nick and Tom Wolfe, and their best mate, guitarist Brodie Rainbird. After playing music separately throughout their teenage years, the three got together to form The Wolfe Brothers, and after six years playing small shows around Tasmania, they got their big break. The Wolfe Brothers shot to fame after winning second place on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012, and have since toured the length and breadth of Australia playing the music they love best – modern country rock. They are sure to entertain the crowds at Broadbeach Country Music Festival 2017.

The festival’s line-up will also be joined by one of Australia’s most loved singer-songwriters, Sara Storer. A winner of a record-breaking seven Golden Guitars at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Sara’s beautiful observations of the Australian landscape and its people provide the solid foundation for her music. Her latest album, Silos, released in 2016, reached number 30 on the ARIA charts and won the ARIA for Best Country Album. Everyone will be able to enjoy her beautiful storytelling in the picturesque setting of Broadbeach.

Broadbeach Country Music Festival
entertains the whole family
Joining the plethora of stunning home-grown talent in this second line-up announce are international husband and wife folk duo Tomato Tomato. Hailing from Chicago-New Brunswick, the pair has fine-tuned the art of washboard percussion, and it is this original instrumentation which brings joy and individuality to their music. With their air-tight harmonies and general exuberance, Tomato Tomato have entertained audiences at various festivals across the US and Canada – and now they are bringing their unique style to Broadbeach Country Music Festival in 2017.
