The Great Cattle Dog Muster 2025: A Celebration of Australia's Iconic Working Dogs

The Great Cattle Dog Muster is a premier event celebrating Australia's iconic working dogs, the Australian Cattle Dog and the Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog. Held bi-annually in Muswellbrook, New South Wales, this event attracts dog enthusiasts, breeders, and families from across the country.

Community Family Fun Day – Saturday, 6th September 2025

The Community Family Fun Day is the highlight of the Muster, offering a full day of activities for all ages. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, visitors can enjoy:
  • Dog Demonstrations: Including herding displays and obedience trials.
  • Live Entertainment: Featuring performances by Amber Lawrence, The Collective, Katie Jayne, and Imogen Hall.
  • Children's Activities: Jumping castles, face painting, and appearances by Bluey & Bingo.
  • Market Stalls: Showcasing local produce, crafts, and merchandise.
  • Food & Beverage: A variety of food trucks offering delicious options.
