Vietjet opens direct flight Ha Noi - Siem Reap

On 12th December 2023, Vietjet held the inauguration ceremony of a direct flight connecting the capital Ha Noi, Vietnam, with the heritage city of Siem Reap, Cambodia.

The event took place within the framework of the Vietnam - Cambodia Investment and Trade Promotion Forum, in the presence of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, leaders of ministries, branches, and businesses of the two countries in Ha Noi.

Prime Minister Hun Manet congratulates and appreciates Vietjet's operation of the direct flights Ha Noi - Siem Reap connecting Cambodia with Vietnam. He hopes that Vietjet will open more flights connecting Vietnam and Cambodia.

The flight route connecting Ha Noi - Siem Reap will serve passengers from 15th December 2023 with 7 round trips per week, flight time per leg is 1 hour 45 minutes. Passengers will have a convenient flying experience with Vietjet's modern fleet of aircraft, enjoy cuisine rich in Vietnamese national identity such as banh mi, Pho Thin, and world cuisine... served by a dedicated, friendly crew and many attractive customer care programmes.

Vietjet's new flights will fly to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, Cambodia's largest airport, about 50km from the centre of Siem Reap Province, about 40km from the Angkor complex relics.

Ha Noi - the heart of Vietnam, is the capital of a thousand years of civilization with famous destinations imbued with cultural and historical imprints such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Long Bien Bridge, Old Quarter with 36 streets and famous street food.

Meanwhile, Siem Reap is a world-famous land with the Angkor relic complex, a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. Siem Reap preserves almost intact many architectural works of temples and world-famous wonders, where visitors can experience many experiential tourism activities, traditional arts, and the cuisine bears a strong impression of Khmer culture.

The Ha Noi - Siem Reap flight route will contribute to facilitating and promoting investment cooperation, tourism, cultural and educational exchanges between Vietnam and Cambodia, and expand further with Vietjet's flight network covering Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), Korea, India, Kazakhstan… and beyond.
