Giving his opening remark, Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh, Director of the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, said, the content creation and trial operation of the Virtual Art Exhibition Space (VAES) is a strong and creative step to introduce and promote the value of art heritage and the new vitality of the country's art industry to the public around the world. With the desire to erase the barriers of distance and connect space, VAES also shares information about valuable Vietnamese works of art stored at art museums and the relentless creativity of a team of contemporary artists.
In an architectural building that simulates a stylized lotus shape, with advanced techniques, VAES allows realistic simulation of the physical space of actual art exhibitions, bringing an engaging and intuitive experience to viewers thanks to features such as perspective control, zoom, and 3D interaction. Besides the sample exhibition rooms, thanks to the feature of diversifying space design, VAES allows for the creation of flexible exhibition spaces, reflecting the unique identity of each exhibition and individual artist. This space not only helps artists display, introduce, promote, and preserve their works, but also exchanges and connects to increase opportunities to meet domestic and international customers.
On the VAES platform, viewers can access exhibitions and artworks anytime, anywhere, as long as they have an internet-connected device. Additionally, art lovers can interact and participate in the process of learning about the work by sending feedback and sharing opinions with the artist and the art community.

There are many famous virtual exhibition spaces in the world, such as Gagosian Gallery and National Gallery of Art in the US, or Tate Modern in the UK. In Vietnam today, virtual art spaces are gradually developing, serving the demands of displaying, introducing, promoting, storing fine art works, creating a new playground for artists, or providing virtual gallery space for artists and customers to meet, introduce and trade works of art.
