Be blown away by the unique Saga International Balloon Fiesta!

Saga International Balloon Fiesta

Held between 1 to 5 November, watch as over 100 balloons in varying categories participate in the fiesta, from competitive balloons to fantasia balloons that are made in the form of animals, popular cartoon characters and much more! 

While you admire the balloons, feel free to visit the Umakamon Food Market or the Furusato Bussankan Regional Product for a taste of regional delicacies and speciality goods from Saga Prefecture.

You can access the fiesta from by a 5 min train from Saga station, or a 14 to 23 min train from Yoshinogari Koen Station or Kanzaki station.

 
Note that drones or multi-copters are prohibited from the event to avoid danger to persons flying the balloons and guests
