Vietjet welcomes its 101st aircraft

On 26 October, new age carrier Vietjet received its 101st aircraft which landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the airline.

Since the beginning of 2023, Vietjet has consistently expanded its fleet. The latest addition of the A321neo ACF 240 is part of the 384 aircraft orders placed by Vietjet with the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers.

Vietjet's fleet, painted in bright red and yellow colours, has taken off to destinations around the world. The airline has remained committed to its mission of serving over 178 million passengers, connecting countries, peoples, and religions, and opening new opportunities for businesses and individuals.

Vietjet's new aircraft have revolutionised Vietnam's aviation industry, making the Asia-Pacific region a bright spot on the world aviation map with continuous high growth in recent years.

Since the start of the year, Vietjet has expanded its footprint rapidly in Australia, demonstrating the company’s dedication and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service and connectivity to their customers at affordable prices. Starting April 2023, direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne have been operational, with Brisbane joining in June 2023. By late November 2023, travellers from Australia will also have access to routes to Perth and Adelaide.

Vietjet and Thai Vietjet are excited to welcome the festive season with a new fleet, highly trained and friendly flight crews, and most importantly, new routes to destinations across Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

The new A321neo ACF aircraft helps reduce fuel consumption by at least 16%, noise by up to 75%, and emissions by up to 50%. Vietjet boasts the world's leading modern fleet with optimal operating costs, providing more economical flight opportunities for passengers, and promoting environmental protection and sustainable development. It's worth noting that Vietjet was also the first airline worldwide to operate the new A321neo ACF 240 aircraft.
