“Festivalisation” strategy offers guests a whole new experience with each visit to Marina Bay Sands.
As Asia’s premier meetings destination, Marina Bay Sands is home to myriad unique and vibrant venues, offering a world-class experience for event organisers and delegates. Marina Bay Sands further reinvents the guest experience with its year-long series of festivals, known as its “Festivalisation” strategy. These festivals enliven Marina Bay Sands’ events calendar and deepen guest engagement.
Each festival underscores distinctive facets of life, kindling inspiration and fostering guest connections, thus forging lasting memories. The year kicked off with the ‘Where Art Takes Shape’ festival, followed by the indulgence of ‘Where Your Senses Feast’, the wellness-focused ‘Where Mind and Body Connect’ in June and July, and the enthralling music odyssey of ‘Where Music Takes Over’ in July and August. Rounding off the year is a retail festival, offering retail therapy to guests at The Shoppes. Returning guests will be able to enjoy fresh, exhilarating experiences year-round, catering to their diverse interests and needs. The case study for ‘Where Art Takes Shape’ can be found here.
The back-to-back festivities complement Marina Bay Sands’ ongoing efforts to enhance the meetings experience for event organisers and delegates. They also complement the IR’s move to expand and strengthen its offerings by incorporating partners around the Bay. Known as the “Bay Precinct Strategy”, this development sees Marina Bay Sands working with other venues in the entire Marina Bay area, to offer a collective 8,000 rooms, 1,500 retail and dining experiences, and 10 attractions. This means that event organisers have more options to customise their delegate experience beyond Marina Bay Sands, opening a new world of possibilities.
