Benefit Events, Concerts and Fundraisers for Maui Wildfire Relief

From benefit concerts to fundraising auctions, the Hawai‘i community is hustling to organise awesome events to help Maui recover.

Our community has rallied to support those displaced and affected by the recent Maui wildfires in a number of heartwarming ways. If you’re looking for more ways to give, check out these benefit events for Maui.

Aloha for Maui Benefit Concert

Saturday, Sept. 2, 5–10 p.m.
Enjoy live music by Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winners Sean Cleland, Sean Na‘auao and Natural Vibrations on the Great Lawn at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Get dinner or pūpū during the concert from Kiawe Smoke Hut and ‘Ono Grindz Food Truck. All ticket sales will go to Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund. Validated parking is available at the resort parking garage; self-parking is $10 and valet is $15. Bring your own blankets, mats or towels for seating.

Hana Hou Festival

Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9, 7:30 p.m.
The Hana Hou Music Festival on Sep 8 & 9 will donate all profits to the Maui Strong Fund. Heal through music at the inaugural Hana Hou Festival helmed by Jake Shimabukuro. Featured musicians include Mick Fleetwood, The Jets, Girl Named Tom, Keiko Matsui, Pure Heart, Raiatea Helm, Kimié Miner and Brother Noland. Profits from the two-day event and all donations will be given to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.

Hale ‘Aina Celebration: Whimsical Wonderland

Saturday, Sept. 9, 6–9 p.m.
Step into a Whimsical Wonderland at the 40th anniversary Hale ‘Aina Celebration presented by First Hawaiian Bank Priority Destinations World Elite MasterCard. This event unites our restaurant winners, including 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar, Arancino at the Kāhala, Kapa Hale, Miro Kaimukī, MW Restaurant, Tim Ho Wan and The Seaside. VIPs can enter early at 5 p.m. 10% of ticket sales will go to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.

Chefs for Hope

Friday, Sept. 15, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
This fundraising event organized by Chef Chai will feature more than 30 food and beverage stations as well as live music from local artists like Jake Shimabukuro and Robert Cazimero. Participating restaurants include Miro Kaimuki, Nami Kaze, Feast, Kapa Hale and many more.
