Thua Thien Hue Province: Community Ao Dai Week to take place in July

Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2023 will take place from 6th to 12th July.

According to People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, this is an activity to promote the strengths, brands and unique cultural values of Hue Ao Dai, build Hue tourism image associated with Ao Dai, and stimulate tourism development.

The Festival aims to honour Hue Ao Dai, Vietnamese Ao Dai, introduce the brand "Hue - Capital of Ao Dai", and promote Hue culture in association with tourism. Gradually implement the project "Hue - Capital of Ao Dai".

Activities will take place during the festival: the launching ceremony and the parade of bicycles with the banner of Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2023; pilgrims, offering incense and flowers to Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat; parade group on 23/8 Road before entering the Imperial Citadel to attend the ceremony of gratitude, flower offering, and incense offering at Trieu To Temple.

Community activities with the theme "Ao Dai and space for performance", "Ao Dai and life"; Workshop with the theme "Development direction of Hue Ao Dai in contemporary life"…
