The international Travel Photographer of the Year

TPOTY 2022 Winner

The 2023 international Travel Photographer of the Year competition (TPOTY) is now open for entries.

TPOTY is one of the world’s leading travel photography awards. 

Entries can be submitted from professional and semi-professional photographers, and amateurs, of all ages and from all countries. 

To date, the competition has received entries from photographers based in more than 140 countries with the oldest 88 years old and the youngest five. 

Closing date for entries is 1 October 2023 Submissions must be made online at www.tpoty.com. 

The range of categories which reflect the breadth and diversity of travel photography, combined with the values of environment, diverse cultures, sustainability. 

The four portfolio categories : 

 People & Cultures 

 Landscape & Environment 

 Nature, Wildlife & Conservation, and 

 Visual Stories. 

The themes for the three One Shot singleimage categories are:  Above, Eye Level, Below  A Quieter Life,and Leisure & Adventure.

The overall Travel Photographer of the Year 2023, will be the entrant who submits the best eight images across any of the four portfolio categories.
