Look no further than the Tadami River Bridge in Fukushima Prefecture for a combination of breathtaking scenery and impressive engineering.

Beautiful all year round, with an alpine landscape that changes colours with the seasons, capture this incredible moment of the JR Tadami Line train passing through the arch bridge at the ‘No.1 Tadami River Bridge Viewpoint’. 

Take the JR Tadami Line from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station to Aizu-Miyashita Station. 

From there, it’s a short bus ride to a roadside station known as Mishima-juku, which is only a few minutes’ walk to the viewpoint.

The bridge stretches across a river between Aizu-Nishikata and Aizu-Hinohara stations in Fukushima Prefecture. You can watch the trains cross the bridge at the ‘No.1 Tadami River Bridge Viewpoint’
