NSW SWEEPS MUSEUM AWARDS

NSW has triumphed at the Australian Museum and Gallery Association Awards (AMaGA). 

Maitland Regional Art Gallery took home the most awards of the night - nine wins and highly commended titles. 

Powerhouse Museum won three awards, as did Australian Museum (including one for its Pride Shark), while Tweed Regional Museum and Bathurst Regional Council also collected trophies. 

The winners were announced during the AMaGA 2023 National Conference, which was held in Newcastle in May.
