On a recent trip undertaken by travel editor Georgia Rickard and photographer Jarrad Seng, the talented duo were mesmerised by the beauty and diversity on offer in this part of the country.
“Our jobs have seen both Jarrad and myself travel to all corners of Australia (and the world), but there's something very special about this part of Western Australia,” Ms Rickard said.
“It's the diversity of experiences on the Great South West Edge travel route that sets it apart - both visually and emotionally - this road trip makes an impact, so we wanted to create content to share it with the world.”
Taking time out of his busy touring schedule with musicians including Passenger and Angus & Julia Stone, Jarrad Seng said was excited to get back home to Western Australia, to shine a light on a part of the world that he knows and loves.
“The south west coast of WA was my training ground as a photographer – the colour palette here is like nowhere else on earth and seeing it through fresh eyes with Georgia made me discover new elements,” Mr Seng said.
“I'm a strong believer that Aussies should make it a priority to discover their own backyard and the Great South West Edge is one road trip everyone should add to their travel list,” Mr Seng said.
