NATIONAL INDIGENOUS ART FAIR

Indigenous artists from around Australia are set to come together in Sydney this weekend for the National Indigenous Art Fair – a two day art market and program of events in celebration of NAIDOC Week at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay.

The National Indigenous Art Fair is an ethical marketplace, offering a unique opportunity to buy artwork directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from 30 remote community owned art centres from the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.

There is also an opportunity to join celebrated Bidjigal artist and Elder Esme Timbery and her daughter Marilyn Russell in a workshop to make your own boomerang or heart shaped shellwork.
