A painting exhibition on the theme of the lotus was launched in Ha Noi to celebrate the 126th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
Ha Noi’s Old Quarter Management Board said painters from the UNESCO Center for Fine Arts in Ha Noi have contributed oil and lacquer paintings featuring the noble beauty of the lotus, which is closely associated with President Ho Chi Minh.
Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Van Huy, Deputy Director of the Centre for Research and Promotion of Cultural Heritage Value said, “The paintings of lotus show the artistic sense and style of the painters and their views and emotions inspired by the lotus. The paintings will kindle different feelings in the audience. Vietnamese people often associate the lotus with President Ho Chi Minh.”
The exhibition will end on May 30.
