Vivid Sydney and Carriageworks have announced Sydney’s first large-scale immersive contemporary food and wine event, celebrating Regional NSW produce over two special winter evenings in June.
Created by renowned Sydney chef and Creative Director of the Carriageworks Farmers Markets, Mike McEnearney, the line-up features 50 NSW producers including providores and winemakers from across the 14 wine regions of NSW.
Inspired by the theme of ‘Cooking with Fire’ the night markets invite visitors to engage with and learn from leading chefs as they cook with live flames, transforming exclusively available Regional NSW produce into inspired, bespoke food offerings.
Destination CEO and Vivid Sydney Executive Producer Sandra Chipchase said “NSW is known for its quality produce, talented winemakers and many of Australia’s best restaurants. Our State is a haven for food lovers and we are delighted to be providing visitors with a taste of what’s on offer at Carriageworks during Vivid Sydney this year.”
Entry is free of charge with the night markets taking place on 4 and 18 June
