For the first time Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) will be offering day buyers the opportunity to pre-book appointments with 200 exhibitors at MEETINGS.
This year day buyers wanting to visit MEETINGS can either tour the show appointment free or opt in to access MEETINGS’ online appointment diary.
CINZ Chief Executive Sue Sullivan says MEETINGS is the opportunity for event organisers to plan their next year in a day, and to meet all of New Zealand under one roof in Auckland on either 15 or 16 June.
“Day buyers will have the opportunity to make appointments with 200 different exhibitors from 19 regions across the country. It is free to attend on either day,” she says.
“We are encouraging anyone who organises events and meetings to register to attend MEETINGS as a day buyer. We have a great line up of exhibitors and our 20th anniversary is shaping up to be one of our best events ever.”
Day buyers receive free parking at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds, lunch and an invitation to the Celebrity Speakers’ Showcase.
One of New Zealand’s most recognisable faces, TV3 Newshub anchor Mike McRoberts will launch the Celebrity Speakers’ Showcase, which follows a gourmet lunch at Logan Campbell Centre courtesy of Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
Other celebrity speakers at MEETINGS this year include Australasia’s pre-eminent mind reader, Anthony Laye; New Zealand comedy success Ben Hurley; former Black Ferns Champion, TV presenter and journalist Melodie Robinson; transformation leader, Bruce Cotterill; and Will Martin, the youngest man in history to top the UK classical charts.
Day Buyers opting into the online diary will automatically go in the draw to win two nights’ accommodation for two at Copthorne Bay of Islands, including full breakfast and a rental car from Hertz for three days.
The MEETINGS 2016 appointment diary will be open to day buyers from Friday 3 June.
