New: Margaret River Distilling Co.

The Margaret River Distilling Co. is now officially open to the public. The Distillery is owned by the same operators as the Great Southern Distilling Company in Albany. Margaret River Distilling Company is WA's first producer of Single Malt Whisky and has also been awarded Australia's Best Whisky. They also distill gin, vodka, absinthe bitters, brandy, grappe and other liqueurs. Find out more

New chef: Colin Anderson joins Cullen Wines

The region's latest culinary recruit comes fresh from Peter Gilmore's Quay restaurant in Sydney. Scottish-born Colin Anderson starts as Executive Chef at Cullen Wines on Saturday 5 December 2015. Find out more

Chris Isaak to headline at Leeuwin Estate, 27 February

Leeuwin Concert, taking place on 27 February, will welcome Chris Isaak to the stage. The 59-year old high-profile American artist is well known to Australians for his role this year as an X Factor judge and has sold more than a million albums in Australia alone including 11 ARIA top 20 albums. It seems word has got out about that Margaret River event, with people flying in from Japan, Singapore and the eastern states for the spectacle. Find out more
