In December 2016, ICC Sydney will become Australia’s premier convention, exhibition and event precinct. Along with three impressive theatre venues, the venue will be home to a 5,000sqm open air event deck, a 2,400sqm multipurpose event space, a 2,000 seat ballroom and seven exhibition halls, all folding into Tumbalong Park which will be expanded by 3,000sqm.
All venues will have world class staging and technical facilities, with sound and visuals brought to life through high definition screens, large scale projection and superior audio equipment.
Sitting at the heart of a broader $3.4 billion revitalisation of Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney is a $1.5 billion development that will adjoin a new circa 600-room luxury hotel, a new residential and commercial development, a new pedestrian boulevard that will connect the waterfront back to Central Station and laneways to further activate this iconic Sydney destination.
