Thailand Welcomes 2,500 Infinitus Delegates for a Landmark Incentive Visit from China

Landmark Incentive Visit from China
A Powerful Partnership Between Thailand and Infinitus

In a significant boost for Thailand’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has successfully hosted a delegation of more than 2,500 Infinitus delegates from China. This prestigious incentive group, arriving in three waves between 12 and 19 May 2025, marks a continued strengthening of the partnership between Thailand and Infinitus, one of China’s leading health brands. The visit not only reinforces Thailand’s status as a prime destination for large-scale incentive travel but also underscores the country's appeal to high-value Chinese tourists.

Exploring Thailand’s Regional Gems

The incentive trip was meticulously planned to showcase Thailand’s diverse regional offerings. Divided into three groups, the delegates followed distinct travel routes: Phuket–Bangkok, Chiang Mai–Bangkok, and Pattaya–Rayong–Bangkok. Each route offered an enriching experience, allowing participants to explore some of the country’s most beloved cities and their surrounding regions before gathering in Bangkok for the main event.

The regional tours provided a perfect blend of culture, nature, and leisure, giving delegates the opportunity to experience Thailand's varied landscapes, local cuisine, and traditional hospitality. The highlight of the trip culminated in a large-scale seminar and gala event at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok on 17 May 2025.

Celebrating Thai Culture and Warm Hospitality

The gala event was an embodiment of Thailand’s hospitality and cultural richness. Presided over by Mr. Kittipong Prapattong, TAT Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development, the evening was a celebration not only of Infinitus’ long-standing partnership with Thailand but also of the country’s ability to host prestigious international gatherings. A spectacular traditional Thai cultural performance added a memorable local touch to the proceedings, leaving the guests with a lasting impression of Thailand’s unique identity.

TAT also produced a special welcome video to express gratitude to Infinitus for choosing Thailand as their incentive travel destination for over a decade. This personal touch highlighted the strength of the partnership between the two parties and emphasized Thailand’s continued position as a top destination for high-end incentive groups from China.

A VIP Welcome for Infinitus Delegates

The visit kicked off with a VIP welcome at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 13 May 2025. The group, arriving on a China Southern Airlines flight from Guangzhou, was warmly received by Mr. Chuwit Sirivejkul, TAT’s Regional Director for East Asia, along with key representatives from Guangzhou Huiyue International Travel Service. This gesture set the tone for the entire visit, reinforcing the message of Thailand’s commitment to excellence in service and hospitality for international visitors.

A Strategic Move to Attract High-Value Chinese Tourists

This visit is part of TAT’s broader strategy to position Thailand as the premier destination for large-scale incentive travel from China. Infinitus, founded in 1992, is a leading Chinese health brand specializing in herbal supplements. The company has long been known for rewarding its top-performing employees with international trips, and its continued loyalty to Thailand highlights the country’s strength as an incentive destination.

The success of this visit, which follows a similar event in 2024 that attracted over 3,000 delegates, paves the way for more large corporate groups from China to visit in 2025. This influx of high-value visitors is expected to have a significant impact on Thailand’s tourism industry, contributing to the broader goal of achieving sustainable growth in the MICE sector.

Looking Ahead: Strengthening Thailand’s MICE Industry

With this successful incentive visit, Thailand is well on its way to becoming Asia’s top MICE destination. The continued partnership with Infinitus, combined with TAT’s strategic approach to targeting high-quality tourism from China, will undoubtedly yield more large-scale corporate visits throughout 2025. As Thailand strengthens its position as a hub for global incentive travel, more exciting opportunities for local businesses, cultural exchanges, and international collaboration will unfold.
