Queenslanders cruising out of Brisbane this year can start their holiday the moment they step out the door thanks to a new partnership between P&O Cruises and ride-sharing phenomenon, GoCatch.
Guests who book a suite or mini-suite on any of P&O’s 2018 cruises from Brisbane will receive a $100 GoCatch credit to get from home to port.
The new offering makes a P&O cruise holiday even more convenient by removing the planning of getting to-and-from the terminal.
P&O Cruises Vice President of Sales and Marketing Ryan Taibel said feedback from guests showed GoCatch was an increasingly popular way to travel and it made sense for P&O to offer the service as part of the booking process.
“Our guests love to cruise because it is so easy – just get on the ship and we do everything for you. We’ve seen a growing number of Queenslanders choosing to travel to and from our ships by GoCatch and we wanted to make that trip as smooth as possible too,” Mr Taibel said.
A range of vehicle options are available with GoCatch. Passengers wanting a quick and affordable ride can select Economy while, for an elevated experience with a luxury vehicle and a professional driver, Premium class is available. Where there are lots of friends and luggage to move, Maxis provide maximum space.
GoCatch CEO Andrew Campbell said its transportation service had proved to be extremely popular in Brisbane and the new partnership provided locals with another reason to leave the car at home.
“More than 10,000 Queenslanders rely on GoCatch to get around their city and now we’re making it even easier for them to get on their cruise with a comfortable and convenient ride from one of the 5,000 drivers on GoCatch,” Mr Campbell said.
“P&O guests even have the added benefit of being able to book ahead with ‘GoCatch Advance Bookings’ for the peace of mind of a scheduled pickup and the comfort of an all-inclusive fare.”
