Companies are making the most of the balmy Auckland weather to plan outdoor events at MOTAT.
Nestled between a cluster of picturesque cottages, a quaint chapel and beautiful gardens, the Museum’s Historic Village Lawn is the idyllic setting for a wide variety of events ranging from parties to weddings, photo shoots, product launches and corporate family days out. The Village Lawn comfortably seats 120 guests picnic-style or up to 300 cocktail-style.
Another exciting development at MOTAT is the recent upgrade of the heritage Cropper House building, including a complete exterior repaint and construction of a new undercover terraced area. MOTAT’s Commercial Manager Jeff Morris says this will add another dimension to corporate events such as cocktail parties and dinners. The Museum is thrilled to offer clients the perfect indoor-outdoor venue in a unique colonial setting. The upstairs area, lawns and now the weather-proof terrace of Cropper House combine to make up a fabulous space for special events.
