On Saturday 17 March hop into Moonlight Cinema at Centennial Parklands for a Sydney-only advanced screening of Peter Rabbit. Making the jump from beloved storybook character to the big screen, the film follows the feud between Peter and Mr. McGregor over both the vegetable treasure in Mr McGregor’s forbidden garden and their rivalry for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne).
During the filming of Peter Rabbit, Sydney’s leafy Centennial Parklands, was turned into the quaint English countryside home of Mr. McGregor so this special location based Moonlight screening will see Peter return to the parkland’s lush lawns for a star turn on the silver screen.
Other advanced screenings this month include the visually-dazzling Wrinkle in Time, a family fantasy flick starring Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon; coming-of-age tale Love, Simon; John Cena’s hilarious new comedy Blockers; and Chris Hemsworth in the powerful war drama 12 Strong.
