CHINESE CELEBRITIES TO SHOWCASE SYDNEY AND REGIONAL NSW

Some of NSW’s most popular attractions will be seen by more than 44 million people in China, following the filming of a popular Chinese reality TV show in NSW this week.

Supported by Destination NSW, the Travel with Superstar film shoot will follow two Chinese celebrities on a road trip from Sydney to Gunnedah and on to Port Macquarie, with NSW to feature in all 20 episodes of the show’s third season.

The activity will showcase Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Gunnedah, the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Port Macquarie.

The celebrities cast in the show will also post about their experiences on popular Chinese social media site Weibo, where they have 4.5 million followers.

Travel with Superstar will be broadcast on the China Communication Television Broadcast Network and 32 different online platforms.
