- Santa in his bright red suit lit up Capricorn Caves as he abseiled 30 metres down the summer solstice light shaft at midday on 22 December. The large crowd cheered as Santa appeared through a vertical shaft in the roof of the Belfry Cave. Capricorn Caves is open for tours every day of the year except Christmas Day.
