Matt Evans, Sydney Royal Easter Show spokesperson, said there’s something for everyone at this year’s Show.

“The Easter Show is Australia’s biggest celebration of the country right here on our doorstep. It’s where you can take an alpaca for an amble, watch super-speedy shearing, taste award-winning produce or roar with the crowd at the rodeo.”

“Once you step through the gates, there’s over twelve hours of amazement included in your ticket and Showgoers will be blown away by the line-up of amazing attractions and entertainment this year.” Mr Evans said

Headlining the evening entertainment and returning after a twelve year hiatus is The Man from Snowy River. Back by popular demand, this dramatic new production of the beloved Banjo Patterson poem is set to be an unforgettable highlight, with the thunder of over 80 animals storming Spotless Stadium in an electrifying performance.

Troy Cassar-Daley will also be performing nightly and the grand finale every night will be theColours of the Outback Pyromusical,a spectacular fireworks display synchronised to a live, high-energy didgeridoo performance.

“We’re ramping up the cute factor at the Show this year with a new Baby Puppy Competition, the world’s smallest rodeo bull, and over 800 free-range animals just waiting for a friendly pat at the Farmyard Nursery.

“Be a savvy Showgoer and head to eastershow.com.au to plan your day, mark some favourites, create a Showbag wishlist and pick up the best discounts on admission tickets, carnival coupons and meal deals,” Mr Evans said.

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events, Stuart Ayres said the Show is an iconic Australian event, attracting thousands of domestic and overseas visitors every year.

“The Show is a unique celebration of Australia’s agricultural excellence and has been delighting visitors in Sydney since 1823. The NSW Government is proud to support the Sydney Royal Easter Show through our tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW and I encourage everyone to book their tickets and get along to this wonderful event,” Mr Ayres said.

Showgoers are also advised ShowLink tickets aren’t available for purchase on train stations or Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses. But rest assured same-day return public transport is still included in every ShowLink ticket.
