ST. FRANCIS SWEET SHOPPE

Holiday treats here we come! Indulge in sugary goodness at the inaugural St. Francis Sweet Shoppe. Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Francois Houdré and his team will offer a delicious selection of freshly baked decorative cookies, brownies, gingerbread men and rice crispy treats available for purchase. There will also be a special “cupcake of the day” and “dessert of the weekend.” For those who want to take home some extra treats, boxes of Chef Houdre’s famous macarons and jars of housemade cookies are available to go. Open Saturdays and Sundays from November 29 - December 21; 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Caruso’s Seasonal sips & holiday Coffee Drinks

Now Though Dec. 31
After a busy day of shopping, unwind with one of Caruso’s “Seasonal Sips.” A sampling of drinks includes the Seasonal Old Fashioned, Harvest Spice Sangria and Spiced Rum Cider. Or warm up with a delicious coffee drink such as a peppermint mocha, gingerbread or eggnog latte. For the ultimate wintery indulgence, couple a drink with one of the daily made desserts. A complete menu of appetizers and sandwiches are also available in Caruso’s.

St. Francis Holiday Tea

November 29 – December 21; available Saturdays and Sundays only, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Begin this elegant tea outing with a choice of fine Artisan teas from Mighty Leaf or Red Blossom Tea Company, followed by a selection of English tea sandwiches, freshly baked black currant scones and seasonal berries with Devonshire-blend cream, preserves and assorted petit fours. Guests may also choose the Royal Tea, which includes the complete tea service with a glass of Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine. Clock Bar

For the perfect holiday drink, head to Clock Bar for the “I’m thankful for the PSL” cocktail, available November 17-30. This delicious beverage features rum, rye, coffee liquor, Amaro Nonin, simple syrup, pumpkin puree and a pinch of pumpkin spice, topped off with whip cream and freshly ground nutmeg. $14

Chateau Montelena at The Westin St. Francis

Tasting Room is open every Wed. – Sat. from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Chateau Montelena, revered for winning the renowned Paris tasting in 1976 and featured in the movie “Bottle Shock,” has a tasting room located in the main lobby where guests can taste and purchase a wide selection of wines for the holidays (including those typically only available at the Château). The wines will also be available on the menus at Caruso’s and The Oak Room Restaurant.

Thanksgiving Dinner - The Oak Room Restaurant

November 27; 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Bring together family and friends to relax and indulge in an extravagant Thanksgiving buffet filled with a vast array of appetizers, fresh seafood, an assortment of salads and mouthwatering desserts. A sampling of items includes: roasted pumpkin bisque with nutmeg; specialty cured meats, cheeses and vegetables; Alaskan snow crab; citrus poached prawns; a selection of salads; and a dessert buffet. In addition, guests have their choice of five entrées: slow roasted turkey with whipped potatoes and sourdough and sage stuffing; citrus marinated Pacific salmon with whipped gold potatoes; Moyer Farms prime rib with potato gratin; Berkshire pork loin medallions with potato gratin, caramelized apple and Brussels sprouts; and three-cheese manicotti with wilted baby spinach. Thanksgiving Dinner - Bourbon Steak

Join us Bourbon Steak for a traditional Thanksgiving meal with your friends and family. Executive Chef Pajo Bruich has created a family style three-course meal that embodies the spirit of Thanksgiving tradition with an emphasis on the communal sharing of a meal. Menu items will highlight seasonal Northern California produce in dishes like a Winter Squash Salad with pumpkin seeds, farro, and duck confit. The star of the meal will be a Slow Cooked Heritage Turkey Breast alongside a turkey leg cassoulet with cranberry chutney. Guests will all savor a delicious steak offering as well. The team at Bourbon Steak is sharing their family recipes when it comes to traditional sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, Brussels sprouts and dinner rolls. Expect delightful twists on classic Thanksgiving desserts like a Pumpkin Cremeaux and an Apple Tart with vanilla caramel and warm spice. In addition to the regular dinner menu at The Oak Room Restaurant, Executive Chef Bernd Liebergesell has created two special entrees to enjoy on this magical evening: oven-roasted filet of beef with citrus prawns; and pan seared scallops with butternut squash puree. Special entrees $38-48.

Christmas Eve Dinner-Bourbon Steak

December 24; 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Celebrate the holiday with a four-course tasting menu at Bourbon Steak. On Christmas Eve, Bourbon Steak will offer a menu prepared by Executive Chef Pajo Bruich that perfectly captures the holiday spirit.Cost $135 per person; wine pairing available for $75 per person.

Celebrate Christmas dinner at The Oak Room Restaurant with an extravagant buffet overflowing with scrumptious appetizers, salads, seafood and dessert. Offering countless tantalizing choices for every taste, a sampling of items include: butternut squash soup; antipasto display; cheeses and artisan breads; seafood favorites such as rock shrimp salad, Alaskan snow crab and smoked salmon; seasonal salads; and a dessert buffet. Kick off the New Year’s celebration with a special dinner at the elegant Oak Room Restaurant. In addition to the regular menu, guests may choose from a selection of two special entrees: lobster crusted petit beef filet with gold potato and mascarpone puree, glazed baby vegetables, and charred romaine with a red wine reduction; or brown butter roasted cod filet with crisp fingerling potato confit, wilted Swiss chard, pomegranate beurre blanc Special entrees $38-$53.

New Year’s Eve Dinner - Bourbon Steak

December 31; 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Bar & Lounge open until midnight with a limited bar bites menu
Ring in the New Year at Bourbon Steak. Reservations for the first seating will be accepted between 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and offer a four-course menu of Executive Chef Pajo Bruich’s playful reinterpretations of Chef Michael Mina and Bourbon Steak classics. For the second seating starting at 7:30 p.m., Chef Pajo Bruich will take guests on a decadent tour of cultural New Year’s dining traditions from around the world. This lavish six-course menu will be a celebration of traditions worldwide. Cost for the first seating is $135 per person with an optional wine pairing for $75 per person. Cost for the second seating is $195 per person with an optional wine pairing for $105 per person.
