The exciting schedule of events planned for ARIA Week 2014 has been announced, including a range of showcases, gigs and other events in venues across Sydney from 19 December to 3 December. Tickets to all the public events are free, giving music fans even more reason to celebrate.
Now in its third year, and supported by Destination NSW, ARIA Week showcases Sydney’s dynamic and diverse live music scene. It will showcase new artists, include ground-breaking music industry conferences, and highlight the wealth of talent and opportunity the Australian music scene has to offer.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism and Major Events Troy Grant said: “ARIA Week is an extension of everything wonderful about the ARIA Awards. It’s a week-long celebration of the best of Australian music, here in the home of the nation’s creative industries, Sydney.”
“The NSW Government is a proud partner of ARIA Week through our tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, and we look forward to seeing artists, music fans and industry professionals fill the city’s live performance venues for a week of fantastic showcases, gigs and other events,” he said.
